 |
Here at Mercantile Mart we are Americans
and proud of Americans. We try to purchase American made
products when ever possible therefore putting Americans back
to work and to keep America strong. |
| You too can help, buy American made
products when you can and keep jobs here for Americans
instead of helping some foreign country to get rich. |

|
Ground Control
at least that's what we call it. Who says you can't live in
the boonies and have all the high tech stuff. This is
our contact with the outside world. |
Mark J. Liberto moved
to Texas about thirty years ago. I was born and raised in
Chicago the oldest of five children. I grew up in the city
but always wanted to live
in the country away from the noise and
crowds associated with living in any big urban area. I enjoy
the peace and quite nature provides along with the slower
pace (I do miss the Pizza Though). I
believe we should all slow down, lose the cell phone or lap
top and enjoy |
|
| what life has to offer. I believe in
quality not quantity that is one of the reasons for
Mercantile Mart, offering a quality product at a fair price.
I also believe in America and the American way of life,
let's keep our country strong by buying American made
products when we can. |

Norma Gail Turnbow
has lived in Texas for the last ten
years. I was born and raised in Utah and was
the youngest of two children, my brother was five years
older than I. We had wonderful parents and spent a lot of
time fishing, camping, and just spending time together. My
parents always taught me that honesty is the best policy and
with a last name of "Trusty" it seems to go together. My
mother, father, and brother have all passed |
| on and I will always remember the good
times we had together. I married at a very young age and was
blessed with three wonderful children. They now have all
grown up and are married now blessing me with six beautiful
grandchildren. I am very proud of them all. |

|
A Little Dusty to
say the least as Gail sands her latest creation in
the workshop. All projects are made by hand and are unique
one of a kind products. |
| A View From The
Hill overlooking the Cleburne State Park as seen from
our office. It definitely beats the view of concrete and
steel in the city. |

SOME OF OUR FRIENDS
PAST AND PRESENT

| Yukon was
our first, an Alaskan Timber wolf mix sadly he is gone but
he's not forgotten. |
 |

 |
Mutley was
a stray on his way to the animal shelter where he would not
have made it. We decided to rescue him as he was being
loaded on the truck, we were lucky and the dog catcher let
us have him. He is still with us, living proof you can teach
an "old dog" new tricks. |

| Egypt shown
here as a pup was with us for almost a year but now is
gone. |
 |

 |
Sheba had a
short life, sadly somebody thought it was fun to use a puppy
for target practice and shot her. I found her when I arrived
home, she managed to crawl back from where she was shot and
died in our yard. |

| Fuzzball is
shown here as a puppy and has grown into a real handful. She
keeps us busy with her antics and is just spoiled rotten. |
 |

 |
Poopas is
just Poopas a fun loving animal who just loves to lay around
and take it easy. You will usually find her asleep in the
driveway taking in some sun. |

 |
Baby is the
latest addition to the tribe, although the runt of the
litter she is something else. Her mother is Fuzzball (above)
so I imagine she will be a handful too. |
